Why Our Croissants Take So Long , And Why They’re Worth It
There are some things you just can’t rush.
At Lemon & Brioche, our croissants are one of those things.
When you see a golden, flaky croissant sitting on our table, it might look simple—but there’s a whole lot of work (and butter!) that happened before it ever made it there.
Our croissants are made from scratch right here in our Lodi kitchen. The dough is mixed, chilled, rolled, laminated with butter, folded, chilled again, shaped, proofed, and finally baked until those beautiful layers are golden and flaky.
It’s a process.
But we think it’s worth it.

Made Here. By Us.
One of the things we want Lemon & Brioche to be known for is food that feels homemade in the very best way.
The kind of baking where someone actually mixed the dough.
Someone rolled it out.
Someone shaped every croissant.
And someone probably checked the oven about seventeen times waiting for them to turn perfectly golden. 😉
We aren't trying to make thousands of identical pastries every day. We're a small local bakery, baking in small batches for our neighbors here in Lodi.
And that's exactly how we like it.
Plain, Chocolate, Strawberry or Almond?
Now comes the hard part.
Which one are you choosing?
🥐 Plain; buttery, flaky and classic.
🍫 Chocolate; because adding chocolate to a buttery croissant is rarely a bad decision.
🤎 Almond; rich, sweet and one of our favorites.
🍓 Strawberry; fresh, rich, buttery and fresh red strawberries.
We make a limited number of croissants for our pop-ups, which means your favorite flavor may not always be waiting for you when you arrive.
That's why we strongly recommend pre-ordering.

Want Croissants Waiting for You?
Pre-ordering is the easiest way to make sure you get exactly what you want.
Instead of wondering what's left when you arrive, place your order ahead of time and we'll bake your order fresh and have it ready for pickup.
And croissants are especially good products to preorder because they're not something we can simply whip up another batch of when we run out. That beautiful laminated dough takes time.
Pre-order → Pick up → Eat croissant.
We think that's a pretty good system. 🍋
